Passed away at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Anne O'Brien. Loving father of Kelly Houston (Jeff), Tracy Corry (Jon), Trevor O'Brien (Michelle) and Sean O'Brien (Jennifer). Proud grandfather of Jacob and Daniel Houston, Emilee and Jack Corry, Liam and Colin O'Brien, and Kailee and Megan O'Brien. Survived by his sister Agnes Hunt (Lawrence) and predeceased by his siblings Dorothy Park (Wilson), Ron O'Brien (Margaret), Marie Swainsbury (Robert), Helen Teichert and Michael O'Brien. Jim will be missed by all who knew him. A special thank you to the emergency and ICU staff at OTMH for their care and compassion. A Memorial Gathering will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Monday, May 21, 2018 from 3-5 and 7-9. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jim can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
