It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Pietro in Grimsby, on Sunday, May 6, 2018, on his 42nd birthday. Beloved son of Carmela and Quinto Di Pietro. Dear brother of Vincenzo Di Pietro, Diana Sferrazza (Angelo), Roberto Di Pietro and Sabrina Di Pietro. Much loved uncle of Madisyn and Olivia Di Pietro, and Alexis and Salena Sferrazza. Cherished grandson of the late Pietro and the late Rosa Di Pietro and the late Romolo and Giusseppina Guarna. Treasured nephew of Stelio and Ida Di Pietro, Mario and Grace Di Pietro, Bruno and Barbara Di Pietro, Carlo and Giusseppina Di Pietro, Maria and Benito Di Flavio, Clara and Mario Amatucci, Clelia and Pasquale Frenza, the late Dalia and Frank De Tina, the late Lea and the late Vittorio Querrcia, Salvatore and Anna Guarna, Teresa and Savario Pitelli, Maria and Gregorio Sinopoli and Antonella and Franco Doria. Pietro was also loved and will missed by many cousins and extended family throughout Canada, USA, Italy and Switzerland. He will be dearly missed by many friends.Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 3-5 and 6-9 p.m. Prayer Vigil at 8:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our lady of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 63 Highway 20 East, Stoney Creek on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 12:00 pm. Cremation to follow.
