Obituary for Cynthia Anne Young (Mattie)
YOUNG, Cynthia Anne (nee Mattie)-
Unexpectedly at her home, Cynthia of Burlington, at the age of 60. Predeceased by her parents Sarah Loretta and Elmer Mattie. Loved by her sister Joye Gaudet (Ernest), and brothers; Ron Mattie (Susan), Bill Mattie (Jan) and Paul Mattie (Cindy). Sadly missed by her close friend David Ellis. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family and friends. Cynthia recently retired from Canada Centre for Inland Waters, after many years of service. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Gathering to Celebrate Cynthia’s Life will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333 on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. If desired, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be sincerely appreciated by her family.
