Bill Sambell (nephew)
From my earliest years, Aunt Grace was part of my life. I spent many times visiting on the farm, out on the 15th concession of London Township. What was most memorable for me was when she sent me out to plow using an orange or yellow tractor. I believe it was an Allis Chalmers make. Not yet into my teens I was thrilled for this opportunity. It was my first experience at having command of any sort of vehicle and Aunt Grace obviously had confidence in me which I very much appreciated. She also allowed me to hoe sugar beets. Not so much fun as driving a tractor but for some reason, just as memorable.
