BRIGHT, Jake David -

Passed away suddenly as a result of a vehicle accident on Saturday April, 21, 2018 at the age of 26. Devoted partner and boyfriend of Laura Diaz Arbelaez. Proud father of Carter Brush-Bright and soon to be father of Luna Wolf Bright. Much loved son of David Bright and Kristin Persia of Burlington. Cherished grandson of Sharon Bright (late John), Brenda Mousinho (late Tony), and Gary Persia (Marianne), and great-grandson of Merle Bright. Jake will be dearly missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended relatives from both the Bright and Persia families. He will also be fondly remembered by numerous friends and his coworkers at Ford Motor Company. A Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333, on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Compass Point Bible Church (1500 Kerns Road, Burlington), on Thursday, April 26, 2018, at 12 noon. Reception to follow at the church. Private Cremation will take place following services. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jake’s memory to the MS Society of Canada would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
