Passed away at Billings Court Manor, Burlington on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the age of 65. Loving wife of Gregory Douglas. Cherished daughter of Barbara Ross and the late Douglas Ross. Deborah is survived by her siblings Stephen Ross (Janet), Melanie Ross (Tom Pearson) and Susan Morgan (Paul). She was a lifelong learner and educator for the Dufferin Peel District Catholic School Board and she demonstrated a passion for the creative arts. She loved animals. Deborah’s beautiful and caring personality was captivating and showed deep sensitivity. She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched. Special heartfelt thank you to the staff of Billings Court Manor, St. Joseph’s Healthcare; Harbour North Unit, Juravinski ITC Unit, Miran Wing and Acclaim Health – Oakville for their care and compassion. As per Deborah’s wish cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 6-9p.m. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
