Clarence Robson  McTaggart
McTAGGART, Clarence Robson. January 5, 1928 - April 12, 2018. Born in Alvinston, Ontario to Gordon and Marjorie (nee Middleton). Beloved husband and partner of Helga (nee Woborzil) for sixty-three years. Son-in-law to the late Fredrich and Hildegard Woborzil. Loving father to Ian and Graeme. Brother and brother-in-law of Howard and Noreen McTaggart (London, ON), Jean and Manoo Gurjar (Vancouver, BC), Robert Lockrey (Chatham, ON),and Erika and Walter Eidam (Kentucky, USA). Predeceased by brothers Alex, Murray and Neil, sister Mary, and sister-in-law, Renate Yisha. Uncle and great-uncles to Gordon, James, Scott and Mary, Kevin and Linda, Rebecca, Jeff and Kathy, Peggy and Peter, Brian, Ruth and Phil, Elise and Drew, Gretchen and Schad, and their families. Graduate OAC, '51, BSc. Cattle Buyer for Canada Packers, Fearman's, Tenderlean Beef. Champion athlete- hockey, baseball, curling,and golf. With Helga and friends, globe-trekker. A Canadian gentleman, worker of the land and livestock, simple pleasures, easy manner, warm, friendly smile. "He was a lovely man," said the care-givers at the Cama Woodlands residence. So say we all. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 12-1 pm where a Celebration of Clarence's Life will follow at 1:00 pm. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Clarence may be made to a charity of your choice.
