It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Tomislav at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Marija for 43 years. Loving father of Sandra (Robert) and Tom Jr. Cherished grandfather of Zoe Blackborow, and Mia Jurcic. Predeceased by granddaughter Nicole Jade Peranic (November 16, 1994 - March 12, 2018) - together forever in Heaven. Great-grandfather of Justin Daniel Peranic. Dear brother of Ivica (Silvana) and Zrinko. Predeceased by brothers Marko, Ante and Sime. Missed also by many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, USA and Croatia. Tomislav was a proud Croatian and Canadian who spoke many languages. He had a zest for life, loved to chat and was always sharing his life story. Most of all he was proud of his family. An avid gardener but during winters he enjoyed his second home in Palm Springs, California, USA. Special thanks to the staff and doctors of the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice and to Dr. May Mohamad, Lina, Ivana and staff of the Health-Wise Medical Clinic and Pharmacy for all their care and compassion.
