SLATER, Geoffrey Howard -

Passed away peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington on Friday, April 6, 2018 at the age of 95. Predeceased by his loving wife Eunice Slater (nee Spurling) (2008). Devoted father of Dianne Gilbert and Debbie Richards. Proud grandfather of Ashley Archer (Colin) and great-grandfather of Eleanor Archer. Also predeceased by his parents Albert and Kathleen (nee Stables), and his siblings. He was a retired employee of Bermuda Electric Lighting Company where he worked for over 35 years. Geoff will be dearly missed by extended family and many friends from Heritage Place. A Service of Remembrance will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON, ONTARIO, CANADA, on Friday April 20, 2018 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Geoff’s memory to the Parkinson’s Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
