Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre, on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Breda (nee Doyle). Loving father to Mary Hunchik (David), John (Lori), the late Martin (Carrie), Tommy (Liz), and Bridget Gillies (Shayne). Cherished grandfather to Shannon, Eric, Allie, Lauren, Ryan, Carter, Brendan, Andrea, Aidan, Keira, and Neeve.

Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm. Vigil prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church (2016 Blairholme Ave, Burlington) on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. For those who wish memorial donations to Sunnybrook Veterans Centre Grant a Wish Program would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
