Jordan was a pleasant, funny, helpful and respectable young man who loved all kinds of pies, music, dogs, crosswords at lunchtime and cooking. There are no words that can offer comfort. I pray for peace and solace for you all. Know that all the love you have for Jordan, he takes with him. Know that you all will be reunited one day, and that he will always be close by you.
I have so many pictures and fond memories of our little Jordie. Even as a babe, he was appalled by injustice; discrimination; broken families and broken lives. I can still remember him in my bedroom running around wearing a light blue baby sleeper calling all the toys and stuffed animals laying around, "Bert!". Even then, as a babe, he saw everyone as the same; as deserving of the same love and treatment universally. Jordan may you continue to watch over those who need a champion, and for those who feel alone. I am so grateful for the time, consolation and enduring love you gave to me and the kids. You will continue to be a beacon of encouragement, and justice in our lives until we meet again. I ask you, when my day comes, I hope you will be there to greet me.
