Obituary for Mitzie Sylvia Pitters (Brown)
Passed away at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, on Friday, March 30, 2018, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Roy Pitters for 64 years. Loving mother of Courtney Pitters (Trudy), Geoffrey Pitters (Sandra), Andrea Pitters-Pollard (George). and Sharon Pitters, Proud grandmother of Kodi, Senya, Shani, Shamfa, and James. Great grandmother of Kaiden, Shakhar, Zuri, Izeyah, Jediah, Easton, and Kyrie.
Loving Aunt to all her nieces and nephews.
Dear sister of May Brown, Elva Brown, Havile Lee, Winifred Richards, and Audrey Blake.
Mitzie is predeceased by parents Frederick and Merene Brown, and Beatrice (sister), Ralph (brother), Ena (sister), Pearl (sister), and Grant (brother).
Mitzie was a Registered Nurse in Birmingham England, after immigrating to Canada she continued working in the Health care field primarily at Maple Villa in Burlington, ON until she retired.
Her love for family was important, but her love for Jesus Christ was paramount and this is what defined her life.
Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Friday, April 13, 2018 from 3pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church (1401 Guelph Line, Burlington) on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment Burlington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mitzie can be made to the ICU Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.
