With broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and Nonna. Born on February 1, 1936 in Pettorano Sul Gizio, Italy, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2018. Beloved wife of Domenico. Mother of Joe (Wilma), Antonella (Destry) and Gianni (Angela). Loving Nonna of Angela (Nicky), Giulia (Giordano), Erica (Flaviano) and Alexa. Great-grandma of Gabriela, Joseph and Destiny. Sister of Michele and the late Anna Di Censo of Italy, sister-in-law of Regina (late Antonio) Di Cola, Rinaldo (late Felicetta), Vanda (late Raffaele) Sciullo, Assunta (Giancarlo) Venti of Italy. Predeceased by her father Antonio and mother Livia Di Censo. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins both in Canada and Italy. Special thank you to her care team at Orchard Terrace and her home care PSW's Debbie, Betty and Darlene. Your loving compassion made every day so much easier. Thanks to Anna and Dave Brandow and family for being amazing neighbours who watched out for her. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayer Vigil at 4 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 165 Prospect Street, Hamilton on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. Interment at Mountview Gardens Cemetery in Stoney Creek .
