Condolence: Dear Anita,

I remember you and your Mom through my kum and kuma Joe and Draga Silkovich. You were a dancer if I recall. I remember you as a young girl first having moved to Canada and didn’t speak English and I didn’t speak Croatian, as I’m half Croatian through my Dad. I would have dropped by the visitation tonight if I had learned about your Mom prior to 800 pm. My Dad was Andy (Andrija) Mihalic who you likely remember and my Mom is June who your mother would know. It was my Mom who just called me to mention your mother. I hope yiou and your family are doing well otherwise. I have lost touch with Lala and Brian. My Dad passed in 2006 and my Mom is 93 and just moved into Queens Garden Long Term Care. If you could put me in touch with Lala Silkovich, and Nancy Silkovich, I’d most appreciate it. I’m at 905 689 0469. My condolences to all of your family and your Dad. Your Mom was always smiling when I saw her at picnics or at the Silkovich Home.
