NULTY, Mary Ellen “Nellie” (nee Freeman)
Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the age of 95. Predeceased by devoted husband Thomas Kieran Nulty (1989). Cherished mother of Leila Senf (Norbert), Anna Nulty (Gilles Prevel), Denise Payne, Debbie Richardson (Jim), Eileen Nulty and Tom Nulty (Charlene). Proud grandmother of Michael Payne, Katie Richardson, Daniel Payne, Emma Nulty and True Nulty, and great-grandmother of Taylor and Rhyn Payne. Dear sister of Theresa Woods, Peggy Richardson, Michael Freeman.
As per Nellie’s wishes, private cremation has taken place. A Service of Remembrance to honour her life will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333, on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 1:00pm, with a reception to follow at the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Nellie’s memory to Joseph Brant Hospital -Palliative Program Oncology would be sincerely appreciated by the family.(Memo on cheques to read: Palliative Program Oncology)
