YOUNG, Steven Michael (1951-2018)

Sadly, we announce the passing, at home on Friday, March 23, 2018, at the age of 66. Dear son of the late Frank Young and Thelma (late Steve) Kozack. Beloved father to the late Joshua (2016) and loving brother to Robert Young (MaryAnn), Nancy Houston (Trevor), Jim Young, Susan Hogben (Bruce), and Bill Young (Jackie). Will be missed by his nieces and nephews Alex (Emma), Christopher (Meagan), Ryan (Devon), Michael (Sheridan), Spencer, Sarah and Rachel and by his great- niece Paige. Before retirement, Steven was an auto worker at Ford. A conservationist his whole life, he was also an avid pool player and Toronto Maple Leaf and Blue Jays' fan. A Memorial Gathering to celebrate Steven’s life will take place at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 6-9 pm with Funeral Prayers and Tributes to begin at 6:15 pm. For those who wish, donations in memory of Steven may be given to The Carpenter Hospice or to Community Living Burlington.
