Condolence: My condolences to the family and friends of Garie; her vitality, warmth and hospitality were a blessing to all. Rarely do you meet someone whose presence is as keenly felt as their absence- Garie was that person, someone who lit up the room with her presence, exchanging animated observations of life with you in a distinctive way. Her absence made you realize just how special her light was. Words cannot truly sum up anyone's life, nor can they fill the void created by someone's passing, but this can be said- to have had such a positive impact on so many is, to me, the best way to be remembered. Thank you, Garie.

Condolence: Ron,children,granddaughter and the Macdonald families. My brother Jack informed me of Garie’s hospitalization last week and of her passing Friday March 9. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time for a wonderful woman so well loved by family and friends.
