It is with heavy hearts we announce that Margaret fell asleep in death peacefully surrounded by her family on March 9, 2018, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Leonard Charles Banfield (2014). Loving mother of Janice Clark and Kerry (Anni) Banfield. Cherished grandmother of 7 and great-grandmother to 10. Margaret will be missed by her sister Dora (Tom) Thomas.
Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Wednesday from 6 - 9pm A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 1pm.Reception to follow. Interment Burlington Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, donations to Indspire would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
