Passed away peacefully with family by his side at his home in Burlington on Saturday, February 24, 2018, shortly after his 90th birthday. Loving and devoted husband for 64 years to Barbara (nee Semple). Cherished father of the late Stephen Hopmans (Patricia) and Ross Hopmans (Karen). Proud grandfather of Cori Claus (Troy), Sarah Cameron (John) and Stephen Hopmans (partner Jennifer Knobbs), and great-grandfather of Makaela, Kolton and Duncan. Dear brother of the late Dr. Charles Hopmans. As per Gordon’s wishes, private cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held.
