Condolences

Condolence From: Andrea Grant-Jones
Condolence: There wasn't a day that went by that Janine did not stop at my desk to say hello. She would ask about my kids and she would share stories of raising her son. These words come to mind when I think of Janine; compassionate, caring, helpful and kind. Please accept my deepest condolences for your family's loss.

Condolence From: Roger and Lisa Cecchetto
Condolence: Ron and Bradley, sending you lads greatest love and strength. Still saddened by the simple fact that I will not get to hear Janine laugh as she did everytime we met. Her laugh, her light and her spirit will live on as we share all the times we spent together over so many years. I will always be honoured to have been your best man on that special day when Wheeler became Dekker. Stay powerful, peace and love always.

Condolence From: Jean Salvadore
Condolence: Janine was such a wonderful person. I worked with her at RBC and she was what I would call our "mom at work", always taking care of all the finer details, always dropping by for a chat, and always genuinely interested in our lives and keeping us grounded. My sincerest condolences to her family.

Condolence From: Sandy and Peter Simmelink
Condolence: Janine, your friendship was a true gift of love every single day. I am taking the time to remember all the wonderful days passed next to her, whether it was working together, waiting together in anticipation of bringing Bradley home, our children playing together, sharing our sewing nights, our palm cross making, our family get togethers. We were convinced we could travel to RBC together when we moved offices to Mississauga. I will never forget our forging new paths and relationships and your voice saying "Hi I'm Janine Dekker" to all those sitting around us. We held each other up, laughed and cried together. What a blessing and gift your life has been and the memories that we cherish will last us a lifetime. I will never forget the lessons Janine has taught me... to reach out and be kind to all, take time to care and your laugh. Bradley and Ron we offer our love and sincere condolences to you and your family members.

Condolence: Dear Ron, Brad, Family and Friends

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Janine's passing. I worked with Janine in Human Resources for 10 years when we were both with Paul Revere/Provident/UnumProvident. Once RBC purchased UnumProvident, we went to different departments in RBC but we would always catch up with each other when I saw her in the building. She was a woman always on the go, known to me for her power walking and fiercely loyal and dedicated to her family. She was always telling me about Ron and Brad and what was going on in all of your lives. I will truly miss her. My sincere condolences on your loss.

Condolence: Dear Ron & Bradley,

I am so sorry to hear about Janine's passing. I had the great pleasure of working with Janine and spent many Go Train hours with her when she worked downtown. We passed the time sharing family stories and she was always so proud of you both.

Praying that you find some peace during this difficult time in the countless memories you hold dear.

Sincerely,

Greg Skinner

Condolence: Ron and Brad, my deepest condolences to you both. I have so many wonderful memories that I will cherish. Janine had such a warm and wonderful way about her, I will especially miss her hugs and smiles. We shared a sisterhood with Sandy and Heather, starting out on our careers together in HR 27 years ago, it was a special time that I look back on with fondness. She always spoke with love about you both, Ron and Brad, you were the lights of her life. Janine thank you for the memories, rest peacefully my friend.
