POORES, Norman Douglas
Passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 17, 2018 in his 93rd year. Predeceased by his wife of 56 years, June Elizabeth Poores (2013). Cherished father of Normie (Fay), Kevin (Anne Ayres) and Karen Childs (Nicota). Loving grandfather of Keith, Julie, Brittany and the late Baby Taylor (1997), great grandfather of Tayleen. Survived by his sisters Alice, Dorothy and Cecilia. Norman was a long-time employee of Dofasco. He will always be in our thoughts and forever in our hearts. Norman touched all of our lives with love and happiness. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Tuesday from 6-9p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 1p.m. Cremation to follow. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Norman are asked to please consider the Hamilton General Hospital – Cardiac Unit.
