Condolences

Condolence From: Caroline Adam
Condolence: Dr. King worked with my mother (Joan Adam) in Grimsby & I know they liked & respected each other. She passed away in 2010.
In 1963, he saved me from having a ruptured appendix.
He's fondly remembered.

Condolence From: Mary Joan Osborne
Condolence: Dr. King was our hero. If you called him at any time of night or day with a concern about a patient it seemed before you hung up the phone he was coming down the hall. He was a tsunami of calm in any situation.I found this verse that seems appropriate
I think God blessed your skilled and kindly hands
From ages past and dim
Because he loved the work you did
In partnership with Him
My sincere condolences to the family

Condolence: Martha, John and family. Our deepest sympathy on your Dad's passing. He was a wonderful colleague and friend for many years. As a surgeon he was skilled and always available when needed. Following his retirement he became part of our weekend golf group and we got to know him in a different light. Your parents were friends of our family for many years and we always enjoyed their company. He will be missed.

Condolence: Martha and John. You need to know how in many ways your father held together this community. He was our rock, our solid go to guy that was always there. I was never afraid of taking that ER shift, knowing that your father was standing by on call.

I should share one story. I assisted him in helping one of my patients, bleeding to death, and too unstable to transfer. In a HYSTERECTOMY. General surgeons don't do that. No gyne those days...

That woman walks now because he stood up, and said he'd do it.
That's your dad. A real stand up man.

Gruff, sure. And someone who did the right thing. I'll miss him.

Condolence: Sorry , I can't express my sympathy in person but I wanted to convey my sympathy to you, Martha and your family and brother, John. I had deep respect for your father. His office was a "one man show"! He always asked if my hand shook when I got my paycheck! When we as nurses called with our concerns, he respected our opinions! I will miss him.
