Memorial Candle Tribute From
It is with great sadness I am learning of Art's passing. I will always remember Art as a dedicated teacher to the sport of quad roller skating. I loved going to Scooter's Roller Rink and seeing the happy dedicated (to each other and skating)couple. If I was waltzing and I noticed that Art was watching, I would straighten up my posture and leg a little bit more. I would be worried about what he would say later. Art, you will be truly missed. God Bless You!! Rest in Peace unless there is a rink in Heaven, in that case, skate your a-- off. Love you and miss you. Judy Kumor
"R.I.P. Art. You will be missed dearly, and the sport of roller skating has lost"

Cherished father of Kenneth George (Mary Ann Hutchinson) and Kevan George. Proud grandfather of Erica George, Alicia Thrift (Jessie), Tanya Pratts and their families. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Edith George, and siblings; Marjory Smith (late Leslie) and Dennis George. Brother-in-law of Elsie Hazell (Gerald). Dear uncle of Marilyn Smith (Steve), Leslie Wehr (Gerd), Fred Smith, Steven Smith and all of their families. Arthur will also be missed by numerous friends, and will be fondly remembered by both his colleagues from Ford Motor Company and fellow roller skaters from over the years. Arthur was an avid skater who was devoted to the sport, and both he and Joyce spent many years passionately teaching and skating together. In lieu of flowers, donations in Arthur’s memory to the CNIB or Prostate Cancer Canada would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
