Mallows, Colin Alfred
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Colin Alfred Mallows on Friday, January 5, 2018 at the age of 80. He will be greatly missed by his family. Loving husband for 61 years to Margaret (Peg) Mallows (Hufton), beloved father to Jill Woods (Peter) and Karen Skarja (Eric). Cherished “Bumpa” to Simon Woods (Amanda), Christopher Woods (Chantal Peck), Heather Woods (Mitch Fougere) and Andrew Skarja and Jeremy Skarja.
Colin will also be fondly remembered by friends, soccer teammates, the Sunday morning coffee gang and customers from his thirty plus years as Service Manager at Gulliver Motors and Halton Honda.
A special thanks to Drs. Donaghy, Love and Lukka along with the medical staff at WLMH, especially Nurse Mary who provided very compassionate care in his final hours. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Service of Remembrance will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. In memory of Colin, please consider a donation to Prostate Cancer Canada or West Lincoln Memorial Hospital or Juravinski Cancer Centre.
