Died on December 29, 2017 at McNally House Hospice in Grimsby, after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. Beloved wife of Jim, loved mother of Adam (Kate) and cherished grandmother of Nolan and Breeana. Cherished daughter of Vida and Andy (predeceased), and sister of Andrea (John), Tina (Brian), Tony, and David (Jolene). Much loved aunt of Leslie, John, Katie, Nicole and Emily. Rose had a wonderful career as an elementary school teacher, and imparted her knowledge and wisdom to thousands of grade eight students over the years. She was also a fabulous cook, a master gardener, and a passionate bridge player. Rose loved Christmas, so it's especially sad to have lost her during her favourite time of year. The family would like to thank the staff at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital and McNally House.

Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 135 Livingston Avenue, Grimsby on Wednesday January 3, 2018 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. If desired, memorial contributions to McNally House would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
