Obituary for Teresa Dowhun
Passed away peacefully at McNally House Hospice, on Tuesday, December 19th, 2017, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Wasyl "Bill" (2016). Loved mother of Don Dowhun (Devery). Christopher Dowhun (Lee) and Lynn Nykilchuk (Peter). Cherished grandmother of Sarah (Michael), Lauren and Peter Jr. Dear sister of David Wisnoski and the late William, Ann, Elizabeth, Jane and Olga. Teresa was a long time parishioner of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Hamilton. Special thanks to the staff of Lincoln Park Retirement Home, the West Niagara Palliative Care Team, McNally House Hospice and Dr. Julie Timko. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Thursday, December 21, 2017, from 6-9 p.m. with Panachyda (Prayers) at 8:15 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, December 22, 2017, at 10 a.m. Interment Queen's Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to McNally House Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
