Condolence: I was extremely saddened to hear of Barry's passing and my sympathies to all of his family. I met Barry when I was doing my PhD at U of T in the Metallurgy Department and Barry was at Dofasco where I conducted some of my research. He was one of the finest gentlemen in both demeanour and character that I ever met. We would all too infrequently cross paths as my career advanced and then to my surprise, when I moved to Burlington some 22 years ago found that he was only a few streets away and a member of the Roseland Club where we would again cross paths on occaision My deepest sympathies to all.
