Obituary for Barbara Jean Savage (Nixon)
Passed away suddenly at Joseph Brant Hospital, on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Alfred Savage. Loving mother of Glenn (Michele), Craig (Sharon), Kimberley Paulson (Jesse) and Karen Chan (Herb). Proud grandmother ("Grams") of Curtis, Jacob, Jack, Connor, Emma, Owen, Jay, Nicole and Kaeley. Dear sister of the late Harry Nixon (Susan), Bill Nixon (Nancy) and the late Elizabeth McKean (Clark). Barbara is predeceased by her infant son Scott David and her parents William and Elspeth Nixon.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 10:30am. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of Barbara to the Hospital for Sick Children or Ronald McDonald House would be appreciated.
