Condolence From: Sarah Ladd
Condolence: The rug hooking world has lost a woman of profound influence. To have known Jeanne and been taught by her was a true privilege. With her 'rock star' status, she always had time for each and everyone who shared her passion for hooking. Her sense of humour and unfailing energy after a day of teaching was unfailing. Words are inadequate to express our loss. Please accept my condolences and take comfort from the knowledge that she touched so many lives in such a positive way.

Condolence: I met Jeanne over 20 years ago when she taught me to hook my very first loops. Over the years I was fortunate enough to attend several workshops taught by Jeanne and several rugs she designed grace the floors of my home. An incredible talent and a wonderful, kind woman. She will be missed by so many people. My heart goes out to Andrea and all her loved ones.

Condolence From: Anne Lockhart
Condolence: I was very fortunate to have attended Jeanne's last class at the Rug Hooking Guild of Nova Scotia Rug School. We were hooking Emily Carr. As I look at my rug I remember Jeanne reading to us in her wonderful voice. I remember her humour, dressed up as a Telatubbie or the king of England. We in the Maritimes will miss her.
