Obituary for Robert "Bob" Deamude

Robert "Bob"  Deamude
Robert (Bob) Franklin Deamude, 74, of Burlington passed away peacefully on Friday November 10, 2017, with his spouse Marilyn Welsh by his side. Born December 16, 1942 in Cornwall, Ontario to Frank and Lloy Deamude (both deceased). Survived by his sister Marilyn Hunter (Neil), niece Lloy, sister in law Patricia Phillips, grandchildren: Bradley and Emily (Greg and Julie Welsh), Spencer and Gavin (Lisa and Jim Moore), Adelle, Isaac and Audrey (Julie and Dave Bradica), and children Trevor Deamude and Shari Roberts.
A graduate of Ridley College in St. Catherines, he attended Queens University and The University of Toronto before teaching for 33 years with the Halton Board of Education, mostly at Blakelock High School in Oakville. As a representative of Royal Lepage for over 33 years, his passion and drive led him to pursue real estate on a full time basis in 1997. Always striving to help his clients find their perfect home, he was recognized with numerous sales achievements.
An avid boater on Lake Ontario, countless days were spent entertaining friends and family on the water.
In 1975 he was initiated into the Masons, and became the President of the Oakville Shrine Club in 2015. As a past president of the Shriners he continued to work with the organization on a regular basis.
Visitation will be held Wednesday November 15, 7-9pm at Smith’s Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington. Service to be held Thursday November 16, 10:30am at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Shriners Hospital for Children – Canada in Montreal Quebec would be appreciated.
