Condolence: It is with the greatest sadness that I have discovered this page. Fifteen years ago, Kathryn gave my children the most incredible start to their academic lives. Her guidance to my family, when my eldest son was just four years old paved the way for where he is now. She saw something in him, and encouraged me to go down a particular path. He is now an engineering student.

Kathryn embraced that curious four-year-old. Tirelessly she would go home and prepare him special math and written assignments and humour him with whatever his environmental concern was of the day.
We had looked many times on the web, hoping to find her and thank her, but had somehow misspelled her name.

My very deepest condolences to Kathryn's family. She was a rare and special individual, and someone I have often thought of through the years, from the far side of this country.

May she rest in peace.

she was my cousin that i never had the chance to get to know very well but she would bring her small children over to my moms at christmas when we were small and there were six of us...i remember her big huge smiling personality and and was so happy she made that effort to see my mom and all of us at christmas...love and warm thoughts always..maureen
