Condolences

Condolence From: Maureen Walker (nee Vandersteen)
Condolence: I was lucky enough to grow up as a neighbour with the Capels, and all the other families on Maplehurst. What a wonderful childhood with loving, supportive, caring people.
Rest in Peace, Mr Capel. You've lived a long life with many adventures and travels.

Condolence: I also have very fond positive memories of my time taking shop from Mr. Capel. I took shop at TAB from grade 9 through 12 (1963 to 1968). He was a kind, patient, instructive and encouraging man. He inspired me to a lifetime hobby of working with wood that has been very enjoyable and enriching for me. I also remember him as an excellent hockey player. I recall watching him play for the TAB teachers in a game against the TAB boys hockey team and he was the star of the teachers' team. He was a classy man, who was well liked and respected. I am glad to hear that he had a long life and a large family, who no doubt gave him much love and happiness... Thanks for the inspiration and for the good memories, Mr. Capel!!

Condolence: I have wonderful memories of my high school shop teacher...Mr Capel. He inspired us to "think" and not just do. I followed his lead and have taught Woodworking the past 30 years at Conestoga College in Kitchener. Bill was a gentleman and inspiration to me.
