Obituary for Victor Russell "Vic" Bell

We sadly announce the sudden passing of Victor Russell Bell on October 24th, 2017 at Milton District Hospital. Victor was known for his love of music, hiking, camping, car racing, painting, and was happiest exploring nature with his dog by his side.

After a life of adventure Vic did succumb to complications of diabetes. He is survived by his beloved wife Marie Bell along with his daughter Maria Nowell and son in law Blake Nowell. He will be deeply missed by his sister JoAnne Courchesne (Bell), and her husband, Brian. Beloved son to the late Georgina and William Bell and nephew to his uncle Billy. He passed on his passion for music to his niece, Danielle and love of the outdoors to his nephew, Aaron. He made many friends over his 62 years who will remember stories of their adventures.

The family expresses sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. Watada and the staff at the Milton Hospital that supported him over the years in his struggle with diabetes. After cremation, a celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 19th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Burlington Royal Canadian Legion (828 Legion Road, Burlington, Ontario). Donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Milton District Hospital, or the Humane Society.
