HEYS, Roxanne Victoria (nee Yochim) 1950-2017

Passed away October 15th, 2017 at Juravinski hospital after a valiant fight with cancer. A wife of 43 years to Ric, a wonderful and guiding mother to Jennifer (Mike), Krista (Trevor) and Lindsay (Warren). Predeceased by son Blake. An interested and enthusiastic grandmother to Dylan, Allison, Abigail, Callum and Wyatt. A special niece to Joe and Syliva Yochim. Roxie was a force who took on causes with a passion. She was a wonderful and supportive friend.She will be missed by all that knew her. Special appreciation to Dr.Shelia Middlebrook and her team and to the doctors and staff at the Juravinski hospital for their compassionate care. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 9:30 am followed by a Service of Remembrance at 10:30 am.
