THREADER, William Joseph “Coach”
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bill at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, on Friday, October 13, 2017 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Margaret Threader (nee Gaber). Loving father of Ron Threader (Liisa), Kevin Threader, Kerin Threader (David Vickerson), Joanne Butwick and Deanna Breukelman (Kevin Bailey). Cherished grandfather of Charlene, Jamie, Jacqueline, Sarah, Mark, Scott, Julia, Rebecca, Cassandra, Matthew, Christopher, Justin, Seger, Keegan and Jody and ‘Grampie’ to 21 great grandchildren. Bill is survived by his brothers Robert and Michael (Freda). Predeceased by brothers Jack, Jimmy and Dan. Bill will be dearly remembered by many friends whose lives he touched through a lifetime of coaching. The Family would like to thank all the ‘Angels’ (PSWs, Nurses, Doctors, Paramedics and Firefighters). As per Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family mass will be held. In lieu of flowers or those wishing to make a donation in his memory are asked to please consider Diabetes Canada.
