Patricia "Pat" Marie O'Brien
Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Villa on October 1, 2017 at the age of 83. Cherished sister of Theresa (Frank Stubbs). Patricia will be dearly missed by nieces, nephews, and many cousins and friends. Pat enjoyed a successful career as a dedicated teacher. She was an active member of the Catholic Women’s League. In retirement, she spent time volunteering at Joseph Brant Hospital and became a member of the RTO. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block North of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral mass will take place at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 2016 Blairholm Avenue, BULINGTON, on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations made to The Canadian Diabetes Association or The Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario would be greatly appreciated by the family.
