FREEMAN, Rosemary Frances
Rosemary passed away peacefully at Tansley Woods LTC on Friday, September 29, 2017 at the age of 89. Predeceased by her brothers Darryl and Wilfred Freeman. Dear sister of Patricia Fitzgerald, Joan Waddington and Lucille Bayliss. Loving "Aunt" to Gitte Loten (Greg), Inger Sorensen Doherty (Brian) and Linda Burley (Duane). Also predeceased by dear friends Thora and Henning Sorensen, she was loved as "Gran" by their seven grandchildren: Chris, Kirsten, Calista, Sean, Sara, Leina and Meghan. She will also be greatly missed by her close friends Brian and Christine Ledbury along with many nieces, nephews and relatives in Australia and New Zealand.
Rosemary had an adventurous soul and a passion for travelling the world. She pursued this passion alongside her career working at CNCP Telecommunications and the Royal Astronomical Society.
Visitation will take place at St.Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church in Burlington on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 10:30am until the time of Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Reception to follow at the church. For those who wish, donations in memory of Rosemary can be made to the Sick Kids Foundation or the Alzheimer's Society.
