WARREN, Joseph Roy (1932-2017)
Sadly we announce the passing of Joseph at Norfolk General Hospital on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Jean Warren (nee Duncan) and cherished father to Gary (Karen), Jo-Anne (Kent) Wilbur, Larry (Peggy). Dear grandfather of Ashley (Bernie), Hollie (Jonathan), Amy (Jacolbie Barber) and great- grandfather to Dezerai, Trinity, and Locklyn. Loving brother of Audrey Gillam of Mississauga and Carol Balke of Texas. Joseph is predeceased by his wife, his son Richard, his parents, and by his brothers Jim and Bob. He will be missed by his friends in Burlington and by his many nieces and nephews. Special appreciation to the doctors and staff at the Norfolk General Hospital for all of their care. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Monday, October 2, 2017 from 7-9 pm. A Private Family Interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish, donations in memory of Joseph may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
