DEDRICK, Vernit Howard “Vern”

It is with heavy hearts but an abundance of beautiful memories that the family announces the peaceful passing of Vern, surrounded by the love of his family at the Joseph Brant Hospital, on Friday, September 15, 2017 at the age of 87. Beloved and devoted husband of Beverley for 65 wonderful years. Loving father of Mark, Debby Boutcher and Mike (Marla). Cherished grandfather of Michelle (Tyler), Paul (Molly) and Danny. Proud great-grandfather of Sophia, Ella, and Taylor. Brother of Lynda Gray (John). Vern was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will always be fondly remembered by those whose lives he touched. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family wishes to thank the compassionate staff at the Joseph Brant Hospital, ICU for the care and kindness that was shown to Vern and his family. If desired, donations to a charity of choice would be sincerely appreciated.
