Passed away at the Village of Tansley Woods on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at the age of 92. Loving and devoted husband of Ali for 63 years. Dear brother of the late Mildred "Jean" West (late Richard) and Marion Cornick. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Tansley Woods Long Term Care. Donald worked for many years at the Halton Board of Education. People were drawn to Donald for his easy going manner and great sense of humour. Donald will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A Service of Remembrance will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 10:30 am.
