QUINN, Carol Ann (nee Widdicombe)-
Unexpectedly passed away at her home in Burlington, on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the age of 75. Beloved and devoted wife of Brian for 54 years. Loving mother of Brad and his wife Sandra. Cherished Grandma of Meghan. Dear sister of Donna Seabrooke and her husband Bob and sister-in-law of Michael Quinn and his wife Nancy. Much loved daughter of the late Donald and Hilda Widdicombe. Carol was a dedicated and caring Grade 1 teacher for 32 years with the London Board of Education. She was a proud professional woman who loved children and especially doted on her granddaughter. She made friends with everyone she met and spent her retirement years volunteering and helping her neighbours. She was a two time cancer survivor. She would contribute to any charity helping both people and animals. Carol will be fondly remembered as a sincerely giving and caring person. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333 on Friday, September 8, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday September 9, 2017 at 1 p.m. Private Cremation. If desired, please make a donation in Carol’s memory to a charity of your choice.
