It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of John on Tuesday, August 29, 2017,in his 64th year. Beloved husband of Silvana for 35 years. Loving father of Jennifer and Jonathan. Cherished grandfather of Braiden, Kailynne, Jackson and Chase Estey. Predeceased by his parents Tommasina and Mirko Miljanovic. Dear brother of Mike (Kathy), loved son-in-law of Angela and the late Guiseppe Piazza and brother-in-law of Maria De Pasquale, Loredana and Vince Girardi, Nadia and Albert Checcia and Milena and Manuel Barbosa. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. John loved to travel with his wife, nature, spending time at his cottage and boat, with family and friends, and enjoyed a passion for sharing good food. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m., where Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 1 p.m. Cremation will take place at a later date.
