Passed away at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, on Monday, August 28, 2017, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late John Douglas Wilson (2003). Loving daughter of Christina and Charles Atkinson (pre deceased) Loved mother of Nancy Franz(Vic deceased), Doug Wilson (Doreen), and Julie Toole (Cary) Mother-in-law of Laura Wilson (Brian Galloway). Cherished grandmother of Bryan Wilson (Jonelle), Erin Franz (Adam), Jason Toole (Amber), Scott Wilson (Meghan), Kelly Wilson (David),Sarah Arthur (Chris), Tim Franz (Krista), Douglas Toole (Jennifer), Megan Faucher (Mike) and Kristen Lawrie (Pablo) and Amanda Luciow. Great-grandmother of Rylee, Olivia, Summer, Taya, Grace, William, Etta, Emmyt, Caliegh, and 3 babies on the way later this year. Sister of the late Grayden Atkinson (Cecilia) and the late Joan Carpenter (Eldon). Brother in law Robert Wilson deceased (Thea), Remembered with affection by cousins Barb and Bill Brennen and family, and Betty Beauchamp her many nieces and nephews,. She will be missed by her many long time friends especially Jean Shaw and family, Doreen Baines and family, and Robert and Delores Nixon . Avryle was a long time active member of St Joseph's Parish and the CWL. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, September 1, 2017 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 135 Livingston Avenue, Grimsby, at 12 noon.
