Our extraordinary mom, Patricia has gone to be with the love of her life Norman. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia in her 91st year. On August 14, 2017. Predeceased by her beloved Norman of 68 years. Loving mother of Dell Ann (Donald) Monforton, Susan (Phillip) Harrison, Patricia (David) McClung, Daniel (Susan) Boyd, Richard (Dixie) Boyd, Deneen (Paul) Kucharuk, and also predeceased by her daughter Doreen Brown and son Norman Boyd JR. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren, Karen and Jason Mix, Laureen Rowson, Keith Brown, David McClung, Norman and Tyler Boyd, Grady, Daniel, Mathew Boyd, Danielle and Mark Boyd, Ryan Kucharuk and Kayla Walsh and her 10 great grandchildren Mackenzie and Katelyn Mix, Clifford and Kevin Rowson, Kaiden Boyd, Connor Boyd, Hunter Boyd, Kennedy McClung, Caleb and Logan Walsh. She will also be missed by her brother Robert O’Connor. While she leaves behind many heavy hearts, her family and friends are comforted by many wonderful memories of her gentle caring and kind spirit. She will always be remember as a women who had a saying for everything, lived life, loved her family and had compassion and understanding always. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the St. Catharines General Hospital and special thanks to Doctor Deegan. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayer Vigil at 7:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 135 Livingston Avenue, Grimsby, on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 11 am. Interment at Queen's Lawn Cemetery, Grimsby. In lieu of flowers donations to Rose Cottage Visiting Volunteers or McNally House Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
