Passed away peacefully at the Juravinski Hospital on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Gwen. Loved father of Tate (Kim) and Todd (Erin). Proud and loving grandfather of Coleman and Cate. Dear brother of Bruce (Gail), June Scime, Gloria Love, Janet Trimmings and Ken (Ineke). Much loved brother-in-law of Karen Clewer (Ross) and Gail Buxton (Dan). Missed also by many nieces and nephews. Tom loved to play the harmonica and guitar, tap dance and even write his own songs. He was a true lover of people. Many in town will know Tom as a long time owner of Metcalfe Electric Ltd. As per Tom's wishes cremation has taken place. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew's Anglican Church, 7 St Andrews Avenue, Grimsby on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 11 am. If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Red Cross or to St. Andrew's Anglican Church would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
