When diagnosed with ovarian cancer in July 2012, she remained dedicated in her work and in her will to fight her illness. She remained a brave, positive and strong woman, even throughout her final months. Special thanks to all the staff at the Credit Valley Hospital, everyone at ParaMed and all the staff at The Carpenter Hospice who looked after Rose keeping her comfortable through to her final hour and the Smith’s Funeral Homes for making the arrangements. Rosemary requested to be cremated.
