It is with great sadness that the family of Jean announces her passing. Jean lost her battle with cancer on Wednesday, July 26th, 2017 at the McNally House Hospice in her 81st year. She is now reunited with her beloved husband the late Roger. Devoted mother of Sandra Cesco (Pat) and Kim Manazzone (Glauco). Cherished nonna of David Manazzone (Alison) and Diana Pavone (Matthew). Proud great-grandma of Pietro and Matteo Pavone. Jean is predeceased by her parents Edwin and Gladys Parker, in-laws Nazareno and Paolina Massi, sisters Dorothy, Ruth and Doreen, brother Harry, brothers-in-law Ross, Lloyd, Paolo, Francesco and Pietro, sisters-in-law Luigia and Gina. Jean will be missed by brothers-in-law Vincicio and Ilario and sisters-in-law Elvira, Maria and Betty; and nieces, nephews and friends- especially Antonietta (like a sister). Jean was a former employee of Dominion Stores. She loved the casino, bowling, bingo and travelling; especially crusing. Jean was a long time member of a bowling league and the CWL. The family extends a thank you to Dr. Weatherdon, nurse Cathy, Dr. Love and his secretary and the staff of West Lincoln Memorial Hospital. Special thanks to the staff and volunteers of McNally House Hospice who made her final weeks more comfortable.
