Obituary for Florence Kozak (Moulton)

KOZAK: Florence (nee Moulton) -


A resident of Chatham, and formerly of Burlington, Florence Kozak passed away at the Chatham-Kent Hospice with family at her side on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the age of 92.


Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Florence was the daughter of the late William and Della (Goddard) Moulton.


Beloved wife of 54 years to the late Mike Kozak (1997).


Cherished mother of Ron Kozak (Lynda) of Oakville, Gary Kozak (Colleen) of Cochrane, AB and Connie Wissink (Ron) of Chatham.


Dearly loved Grandma of Teressa Jackson (Craig), Rylan Kozak (Tera); Stefanie Powell (Graham) and Victoria Belliveau (David). Proud Great-Grandma to Rhys, Eloise, Charlotte, Warren, Nathan, James, Valerie and Kash.


Survived by her sister Ruth. Predeceased by her siblings Dorothy, Iris, Winnie, Violet and Eddie.


Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.


Florence will be remembered for her steadfast faith and devotion to her family. She was a member of Pineland Baptist Church in Burlington.


A Celebration of Florence's Life will be held at Smith's Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington on Monday, July 24, 2017 at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Burlington Memorial Gardens, Burlington. Special thanks to the staff and volunteers at the Chatham-Kent Hospice for their care and compassion, as well as the caregivers who helped at the home.


In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Florence to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated.
