SMITH, Geraldine “Barbara” (nee Noseworthy) - Passed away peacefully holding the hand of her loving husband Don of 62 years, at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the age of 81. Cherished mother of Pam Smitas (Ed), Luanne Walker, and the late Robert (late Marni). Devoted and proud grandmother who will be so sadly missed by; Jodie (Derek), Ryan, Lauren, Christian, Noah and Naomi. Predeceased by her siblings; late Donna Wasylenki (late Michael), late Patricia Bowerman (late Perry), late Donald Noseworthy (Gwen), late Audrey Moore (Ken), and late Vivian Dampier (late Tom), and sister-in-law of the late Pauline Cole (late Erland). Barbara will also be missed by her extended family, numerous lifelong friends and those she met through her mission work over the years. Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333, on Sunday, July 16, 2017 from 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held at Compass Point Bible Church (1500 Kerns Road, Burlington), on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 11:00am with a reception to follow at the Church. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery in Burlington. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Barbara’s memory to the Christian Blind Mission International, Compass Point Bible Church, or In Touch Ministries would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
