We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Joyce Westmoreland on June 1 9th, 2017. Predeceased by her best friend and loving husband, George (2015) and beloved daughter Susan (2003). Survived by her daughter, Nancy (Sky Stevens) and her only much-loved grandson, Myles Magidsohn. A special thank-you to Michael and Lorrie Westmoreland. Joyce was a retired stockbroker, who enjoyed curling, golf, sailboating, traveling and her cottage at Cedar Springs. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block North of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. For those who wish, a memorial donation to the Salvation Army or the charity of their choice would be appreciated.
